​Michael Gerard Tyson, popularly known as Mike Tyson, is a one-time professional boxer of the United States of America. He competed between 1985-2005. At the early age of his career, he was nicknamed "Kid Dynamite" and "Iron Man" while later considered as The Baddest Man on the Planet." He's aged 54 years but remains one of the top heavyweight boxers. 

Mike Tyson is considered an "Advocate of Marijuana" because of his love and high consumption of weed. He has a ranch of 40 acres of marijuana farm and a resort named "Tyson Ranch."
As far back 2019, the former professional boxer revealed through a podcast that he has been smoking weed worth $40,000 every month. This is a massive amount of money, and he consumes this much weed continuously. This made him launch his marijuana farm of 40 acres and named it "Tyson Ranch."

Eben Britton, who is also a Marijuana advocate, was a former player of the professional American football league known as the National Football League. Britton is the co-owner of a cannabis business with Tyson.
Tyson speaking on Hotboxin with Mike Tyson featuring celebrities, athletes, and other essential figures, asked his co-host the quantity of weed they smoke in a month. Eben affirmed that they consume almost 10 tons of marijuana at the ranch every month.

This postulate shows that Tyson and Eben weed consumption is not restricted to only both of them but might probably extend to his entire staff. Also, it is understandable that such utilization is beyond smoking. They also apply weed to many other things they consume like hair shampoo, add to milk, olive oil, and other utilities to grease and beat their satisfaction. He also revealed then that his ranch is selling about $500,000 of cannabis to dispensaries in California.

American rapper and businessman, Jay-Z (born Shawn Corey Carter) has launched his cannabis company by the name Monogram. The 51-year old’s victory in the war on drugs has been painted as poetic justice. From transporting kilos to contributing to popular culture, this celebrity has obviously beaten all odds that predicted him dead or in prison by the age of 25.

Monogram is a contour of strains and pre-rolls and this projects the beginning of many business activities to come from the parent company, Ganjapreneur whose objectives are to incorporate a variety of cannabis verticals for a long period of time.
In the rapper’s words, “Cannabis has been around for thousands of years, yet it is still an industry whose legacy of skilled craftsmanship is often overlooked. I created Monogram to give cannabis the respect it deserves by showcasing the tremendous hard work, time, and care that goes into crafting a superior smoke.”
Michael Auerbach, the Founder of Subversive Capital along with support from Left Coast Ventures who are partners with Marley estate and Mexican guitarist, Carlos Santana put in the effort to make it a reality. This support was worth $575 million in the estimate.

Jay-Z’s involvement in the cannabis industry is now pronounced even though it can’t be compared to that of Wiz or Snoop. The rapper has taken to heading Caliva’s social justice initiatives.

This is also in addition to a $10 million venture fund 2% net income commitment to Black and minority-owned cannabis business ventures
The rapper might just have set a path for others to follow, with the strong partnerships and obvious dedication to the industry, what could go wrong?

​President-elect, Joe Biden let it leak that Merrick Garland will be his pick for US Attorney General. This came as no surprise after the Democrats gained control of the US Senate in the Georgia run-off election.
This position if confirmed will put Garland in charge of carving federal cannabis policy when it comes to enforcement.
With half of the country living in a legalized side of the law as regards cannabis and the other half under prohibition, there is no denying that the issue has reached a crossroad.
The most recent Pew and Gallup polls indicate that a higher percentage of Americans support the legalization of marijuana for adults and with the increasing number of Democrats holding majority positions in both houses of Congress, the passage of the Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement (MORE) Act looks to become a possibility.

President-elect Biden who officially opposes the legalization of marijuana holds many in suspense as to the possibility of him vetoing popular legislation passed by his own party.
Where does this leave the possible attorney general? As a federal prosecutor and a judge, Merrick Garland has been careful not to give much away on his stance about marijuana legalization.
The last direct opinion he gave on the subject was in 2012 at a federal hearing on the scheduling of cannabis in which the advocate of the plant aimed to object to the federal government’s classification of cannabis as a Schedule 1 drug.
This meant that the drug was categorized as holding no medical value whatsoever and was entirely under the category of “drugs of abuse”.

Joe Elford who was counsel for the medical cannabis advocacy group for Safe Access disputed that the federal government “failed to weigh the evidence” as regards the plant’s medicinal value but instead leaned towards the DEA’S “bias” against the drug.
“Don’t we have to defer to their judgment on what the medical studies show?” Judge Merrick Garland asked at this point. He further went on to say, “We’re not scientists. They are.”
The petition was denied by the three-judge panel, this being one of the various attempts over a couple of decades to oppose the scheduling of cannabis in the Controlled Substance Act of 1970.
While Garland didn’t write the decision, he supported the ruling of the majority for the scheduling of cannabis at the time.
This was close to a decade ago, what could be Garland’s view of the matter today?

One would have thought that in 2020, we would no longer have to be talking about the importance of CBD products and the great affects they have on arthritic or sore joints as this is sort of old hat by now. However, so many companies are now coming up with great products and getting into the race. Whether they are creams or oil, one thing is for sure, CBD works.

For years, people suffered in silence as they would have growing pain in their joints from years of overuse or from injuries. What was the help that they could get? The same old song playing loud, over, and over. They would get on of these medicines prescribed to them by a doctor which have so many side effects and either do not do what they are supposed to or takes quite a while to be effective. There were also cortisone shots which also damage and weaken ligaments and muscles.

In 2020, we now have so many different companies that have CBD products. Companies such as Spruce, CBDfx, and Charlottes Web offer oils and creams that help reduce pain in the joints and the body. They work well on achy muscles especially after they have been heavily overused or are good after an intense workout. There are no side effects to these products as there is when it comes to things such as cortisone. These companies make products that can be used both internally, and externally. That is what makes them great and more effective.

The future is bright when it comes to the subject of CBD. We shall only see more companies produce more products such as these. We can only hope that modern medicine comes around to support these products as there is no doubt that they work.
