TYREEK HILL AND CHIEFS EXPLODE ON BUCCANEERS
It was a match up that many had been waiting for. The gun slinging young kid, Patrick Mahomes and the good ole seasoned Tom Brady. It was sort of like a classic high noon showdown between two high profile gun fighters. It sure was a gun fight after all. The Bucs, who had dropped two in a row coming into this matchup knew they had to get a win. However, the Chiefs came well prepared as they shot out to take 17-0 lead by the end of the first quarter. Tyreek Hill, who caught 13 passes for 269 yards and 3 touchdowns scored on a 75-yard pass from Mahomes as well as a 44-yard pass in the first quarter. This set the momentum for what was to come as the Bucs had no answer for the speed demon Hill. In the third quarter, the Bucs seemed to be doing their best to get things together as they closed the lead to ten points with a field goal by kicker Ryan Succup to trail 20-10. Tyreek Hill struck again. This time it was a 20-yard touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes to give the Chiefs a commanding 27-10 lead. Things did not look good for Tampa Bay, but you can never count Brady out. Tom Brady threw 2 touchdown passes in the fourth quarter. Both were to receiver Mike Evans for 31-yards, and 7-yards. These helped close the gap to 27-24 but it was too little, too late. The Recommended Content Widget will appear here on the published site.
